We are really pleased to announce that our new vintage wedding stationery range here at Tree of Hearts is now available to order. It is something we have been working on over recent months and are delighted with the nine unique designs we are launching for 2014.
Although Tree of Hearts already offers a wide range of designs to cater for different styles and tastes we felt that we had not got much to offer customers wanting vintage style stationery – therefore in the planning stages of our range, our aim was to launch nine different ‘vintage themed’ designs and then to expand the range going forward. We also wanted to create something that looked hand finished with twine and ribbons etc but was not … yes everything you see is printed but I am sure you agree, it’s a great effect!
Firstly I would like to introduce our Vintage Pink Peony Wedding Invitation (left) and Shabby Chic Heart & Flowers Wedding Invitation (right). These are probably my two most favourite designs although I love them all! The Vintage Pink Peony was carefully created using a distressed peony print, natural coloured twine and a fabric tag on which you can personalise with your names. It contains a matching distressed look inside to follow the theme through and the design also continues onto the back to complete the all over look we wanted to achieve.
The Shabby Chic Heart & Flowers was created using a muted floral print which is in pale cream, peach and olive green. It is finished with a complimenting natural twill ribbon, white vintage lace, twine and a ‘cardboard’ heart shaped tag. The interior of this invitation is printed with the same floral pattern as the outside to complete the look.
Next I would like to introduce the Vintage Beach Pattern Wedding Invitation (left) and the Vintage Summer Bunting Wedding Invitation (right). These two designs were created to add variety to the range as we didn’t want it to be all flowers! I love these designs, they say spring and summer and are fun but stylish!
The Vintage Beach Pattern was created using whitewash wood, sand, gold vintage buttons, a blue gem brooch, grosgrain ribbon and a brass plate and is continued with the whitewash wood effect inside to complete the beach effect.
Vintage Summer Bunting is a fun design without being bold and un-wedding like. It has been designed using soft pastel shades and was created using ditsy print bunting, polka dot lace, a fabric brooch, a yellow button and twill ribbon which is all set on a distressed cream fabric background – which also appears on the inside.
The fifth design in our vintage range is Vintage Roses and Polka Dots Wedding Invitation. This design combines a delicate blue and pink floral print with a pink polka dot pattern and is finished with a blue and hot pink chiffon ribbon and vintage tag which can be personalised with your names – I think this one is very pretty!
Next in our range are two designs that were designed with autumn and winter in mind – although the invitation on the left could be used all year round.
The Antique Damask Wedding Invitation (left) was carefully put together using a vintage damask print, silver metallic ribbon, grey lace, small buttons and a stunning vintage brooch which really finishes this design off beautifully.
Vintage Pearl & Snowflakes Wedding Invitation will definitely add a touch of glamour to any winter wedding. This invitation was created using a neutral snowflake pattern for the background and is finished with a black satin ribbon, lace and a beautiful pearl and gold button which sits in the centre of the bow.
The Vintage Bunting & Love Birds Wedding Invitation is the second bunting themed design in the range. Not only does this bunting design have a completely different look, it also has the option to cahnge the colour to any 1 of the 30 colours offered on our bespoke colour palette (see website for further details). The design features a brown paper effect background on which it has a white silhouette bunting, love birds, glass tea light jars on which you can personalise with your initials and twine tied in a bow with a button in the middle.
The final design in our 2014 vintage wedding stationery launch is the Vintage Purple Orchid Wedding Invitation. This rustic invitation comprises of a distressed vintage print which is finished simply with twine and a hessian tag which can be personalised with your initials – I love the simplicity of this design.
All of the invitations mentioned above can be purchased as part of a co-ordinating range which includes everything from save the dates and wedding invitations to table plans and thank you cards allowing you to follow the theme throughout your wedding day.
