Latest Tips and Advice for DIY Stationery

Today, there’s no shortage of gorgeous designs for you to choose from when it comes to your wedding stationery. You can decide to stick with traditional invitations, or choose something a bit more contemporary – or you could even decide to design your own wedding stationery if you have a creative side.

An ever increasing number of couples are choosing to send out wedding invitations that they have had a hand in designing themselves. These invitations could be linked to the theme of the wedding – a sporting passion, perhaps; a love of poetry or a shared love such as animals or travelling. Your invites could also have a photo of the bride and groom-to-be, or reflect the place where you met. Whatever it is that you want your wedding invitations to say about you, designing them yourselves gives you the perfect opportunity to get exactly the design that you want.

Hand-made wedding invitations can look lovely, but they also take a time and effort to prepare. Sourcing the right quality of cards and envelopes, making them up, and writing the cards out is a big task – and that’s before you’ve considered whether you’ll also make evening invitations, thank-you notes or table names to match!  You might want to consider the option of taking your design to a professional card printer and letting them do the hard work for you.

Templates

You can design your own card based on one of wedding-stationery.co.uk’s templates.  Simply let us know the wording that you want in it, and we’ll do the rest.  You can also order your ribbon, envelope seals and place cards so that you can co-ordinate the stationery for your special event without spending hours trying to get it all just perfect.  It’s the ideal solution – your own design professionally printed and delivered straight to your door!
