With just 16 months to go, Nikki is in the right place in terms of being around lots of ideas and inspiration for her big day. She scours our large pile of wedding magazines at every available moment but with so much to choose from, she has not yet settled on her final theme.
One thing Nikki is set on, is having her wedding stationery from Tree of Hearts. She recently took samples of her favourite designs to show her husband-to-be.
Damon (Nikki’s fiance) liked all of the designs but Grace and Vintage Hydrangea were his favourites.
With regards to flowers, Nikki is thinking along the line of sweet peas. Her auntie has offered to grow the flowers in the colours of her choice, which would complement the Grace invitation beautifully.
Nikki has been drawn to short sleeve or off the shoulder dresses as she would like to cover her tattoo at the top of her arm for her big day. She would also like a fitted dress with slight flare on the bottom and is considering wearing a short veil.
Nikki is yet to book her venue, she has explored the idea of having a marquee, hiring out her friends new tea room which is set on a beautiful farm, the local village hall or having it at a nearby hotel close to the church in which the ceremony will take place.
If she goes for the favourable marquee or tea room setting then she would like a hog roast opposed to a formal sit down meal. Nikki feels this will be more fitting as she wants a late afternoon wedding combining her wedding breakfast and evening buffet into one.
