Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon shut down Disneyland in California in order to renew their wedding vows in fairytale ceremony!
Not Just One Special Day…
The pair originally had a beach wedding in the Bahamas back in 2008 – and the wedding-loving pair have notched up an impressive four weddings in total: Las Vegas, the hospital bed where she gave birth (yes, really!) and most recently the Eiffel Tower.
This year, the loved-up couple found a way to up the stakes and top all previous celebrations — by shutting down Disneyland for their five-year mark.
Mariah was transformed into a real-life Disney princess for her special evening, dressed in a beautiful corseted wedding gown with a train and a diamond tiara. She arrived in front of the Magic Kingdom castle in a horse-drawn pumpkin-shaped carriage with her adorable daughter Monroe in tow. The little girl shared in the magic in a princess-inspired gown with white ribbons adorning her hair. As their carriage pulled up, Mariah and Monroe were met by Nick – dressed as Prince Charming of course! – and Monroe’s twin brother Moroccan, in a miniature white tuxedo. The happy family then all made their way down the aisle in front of close family and friends to celebrate the occasion.
Mariah shared her wedding joy with fans through a series of short videos on Twitter, including footage of the star’s preparations with her daughter, and the pair setting off in the carriage. Mariah and Nick’s wedding anniversary falls on the same day as their twins’ birthday, so their Disney-inspired wedding was no doubt chosen with the children in mind as the family celebrated Moroccan and Monroe turning two year’s old. Ahhh…
