The Bride & Bridal Party

To compliment this romantic day, opt for a classic style dress with a cascading red rose bouquet. With the red roses being held against your crisp white bridal gown it is guaranteed to look amazing.

Have your bridesmaids wearing red with a small white rose bouquet or if you want something a bit different then try having a mixture of red and white dresses with a simple hand tied posy to compliment.

For the groom and groomsmen opt for a smart black tuxedo with a red tie and a single red rose and gypsophila button hole to complete the look.

Venue

If you are getting married on Valentine’s Day then you will need to book your venue well in advance. It is a very popular time of year for couples tying the knot, often booking their dream wedding years in advance. If you are going to wait so long for your perfect day to come then make sure your venue is going to meet up to your expectations. Before booking discuss your ideas, perhaps create a mood board and take it with you (this can be made up of magazine cuttings or images printed off the internet) this is so your venue can be sure they can create the perfect look for you. Look for romantic features within the location for example, crystal chandeliers, statement fireplaces, open fires and ornate gardens as these will act as a good foundation to build on.

Envisage decorating your tables with tall statement red rose centre pieces and adding table numbers, place cards, menus and wedding favours all in the same design as your wedding invitation to continue the theme through. Add red scented tea lights amongst scattered clear table crystals and look for quirky favour ideas such as heart shaped jelly sweets or heart shaped chocolates wrapped in red foil. Display luxury red napkins against an elegant white cloth and finish your chairs with eye catching red chiffon sash’s to add an extra splash of colour.
Wedding Cake

A decadent red velvet layer cake will be sure to wow your guests at your red and white themed wedding. With elegant white icing on the outside and a rich red interior on the in, your guests will be truly surprised when the cake is cut! Try giving your cake an understated look by having it solely in white on the outside, with only ornate white piped icing to decorate and then when it is cut … all will be revealed as it explodes with colour! Matching cake boxes are available to order from Tree of Hearts (please call us to place your order) giving your departing guests the perfect token from your perfect day.
